Elliat Graney-Saucke

Elliat Graney-Saucke, age 22, is an Olympia born queerion who has been living in Seattle the past three years, and is currently living overseas in Berlin, Germany.

Elliat began her art and actism career at an early age with community based projects and organizing such as ´The Transfused´ and the first ´Lady Fest´ in 2000, soon followed by 'Homo-a-gogo' in 2002.

Since moving to Seattle, Graney-Saucke was the founding director of ´The Bend-It Extravaganza´ in 2003, an arts festival led by queer young people that is coming up on it´s 4th annual year running. Most currently, she is researching an international documentry film and photography project called ´Travel Queeries´ and performing drag at different festivals and venues throughout Europe.

Through the many mediums of music, writing, drag/performance, film, and organizing, she continues her work of exploring queer and personal identity, while always pushing for more awareness, visibility, and value of the (radical) feminine in art and activist communities.
